The bags are packed and our money is exchanged back to the dollar. We sit in the lobby of a hostel in Lima, listening to Caleb play some soothing songs as we wait for the taxi to arrive that will take us to the airport. Its an incredible way to end a spectacular trip where God showed up in many awesome ways. We are more than happy for our time here but we are also eager to head back to the States to share our stories and hang out with friends and family. hmm Family. Our biological families are back in the States, but we have become a family here in Peru as brothers and sisters in Christ. Its a bittersweet end, but we know that God has greater plans for us back in the States, no matter where we will be.
The name of this blog is called ´final greetings from peru´ because although we will not be in Peru after tonight, this will not be the last blog post. Throughout the past two weeks you have heard the viewpoints of only a few of us, so I want to encourage everyone who was on the trip to write a little something about their time here. Maybe what you learned, what you accomplished or the greatest thing you learned while in Peru. That´s the great thing about trips. Everybody gets something different out of it...
