We have safely made it to Matucana. We had a few bumps along the way (buses breaking down) but we´re so happy to finally be here! We met with Pastor David from the local church here and he has a lot of great opportunities for us to work with the locals, such as teaching english in the high school and elementay schools, helping in clean up projects around the town and by learning cultural dance in the evening. The church welcomed us with open arms, excited to finally meet their fellow brothers and sisters from the United States. Despite the language and culture barrier, the Love of God is as evident now as ever before. As of right now, we have a small group heading to the elementary school to share the story of Jonah! God is good!
